Lori is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and Associate Professor at Dalhousie University teaching and conducting research in sport and performance psychology. Lori has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honours) from Saint Mary’s University (Halifax, NS), a Master’s degree in Physical and Health Education from Brock University (St. Catharines, ON), and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI, USA). Lori has also earned a Certificate in Mental Health in Elite Sport from the International Olympic Committee. Since 2016, Lori has been the lead Mental Performance Consultant for the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Canadian National team. Lori has also worked with athletes from diverse sports and National Sport Organizations through the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic and private practice, including Hockey Canada, Canoe Kayak Canada, Sailing Canada, Athletics Canada, Curling Canada amongst others. She also serves as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors for Golf Canada. Lori works with athletes, coaches, Integrated Support Team members and sport leaders to help enhance performance and wellbeing in collaborative and safe environments.
